The rolling hills of Tuscany are home to the Sangiovese grape. Here our producers make mouth-filling, rich and robust red wines from this noble grape.
This is a "Super-Tuscan" wine from Rufina made from 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Sangiovese aged for 14 months in french barriques. It is always a terrific value, drinks well on release, but also had good aging potential. Production is limited to about 4,000 cases. It is another of Paolo's treasures.
