In the South of France, this area produces large quantities of wine. Some of the best regions like Corbieres and the Cotes du Roussillon produce much smaller yields and focus on quality rather than quantity. This is also a region where organically grown grapes are quite possible due to the favorable weather conditions.
This is a new line extension from Michel Chapoutier at his Bila Haut winery in the Languedoc region of France. The 2013 vintage will be released at the end of February of 2014. It is round and elegant with aromas of strawberries and raspberries, with a dry finish. This 2012 vintage of this wine has recently received a great review from The Wine Spectator, 88 Points, and we are now sold out. Hurry up and grab some while you can still find it, but don't worry, we will be back next April with another vintage!
UPDATE! The 2013 vintage will arrive in the US on March 10th so look for it at your favorite wine shop then. If they don't have it, ASK for it! Thank you.
