In the South of France, this area produces large quantities of wine. Some of the best regions like Corbieres and the Cotes du Roussillon produce much smaller yields and focus on quality rather than quantity. This is also a region where organically grown grapes are quite possible due to the favorable weather conditions.
This is a new wine from Michel Chapoutier at his Bila Haut winery in the Languedoc region of France. The 2014 vintage has just arrived. It is round and elegant with aromas of strawberries and raspberries, with a dry finish. This 2013 vintage of this wine has recently received a great review from The Wine Spectator, 88 Points, and we are now sold out.
UPDATE! The 2014 vintage is here so look for it at your favorite wine shop then. If they don't have it, ASK for it! Thank you.
