Bordeaux is probably the most well-know wine region in France. Bordeaux counts for one third of the good quality french wine.
We have added several exclusive Petit Chataux wines to our portfolio this year. Each wine is bottled at the Chateau and was hand selected for quality, typicity, and value.
The 2010 classification of Cru Bourgeois included 260 chateaux and is the newest classification system and is decided each vintage. We have posted this list in a link below.
Here is a great find and tremendous value in Bordeaux. It is a small chateau located on the right bank of the Gironde River in Arveyres. This wine is made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. It is ripe and rich with soft tannins and exuberant fruit. This chateau makes about 8,000 cases of wine per vintage. We are nearly sold out of the 2011 and the 2012 has just arrived.
